POST Nº9: Changes that could be made to my study programme
I’m ending my second
year studying Food Engineer and I don`t kwon in a completely way the programme
of my career just because the subjects that are really related with my area start
since the fourth semester. But I can talk about some subjects that I have had
until now.
When I get into the
university I was really excited with one subject of the first semester called “introduction
to food engineering I” I think here I will be helped to understand the meaning
of being a food engineer and kwon what kind of stuff I will be related in the
future but the teacher method was so boring and actually isn’t a good excuse
said it was for the method because he didn’t tough nothing, NOTHING. I feel I
was wasting my time.
At least I expected
to have us read interesting paper and comment on the contingency but no he only
make to my classmate and my to choose one product and then do a presentation, I
investigate about the flan.
In that time I wanted
to focus in other subject or just go to my house and sleep but because the
classes are obligatory I had to assist and organization my time for do that
useless ppt. It was stressing, exhausting and boring.
Then in the second
semester this continue with “introduction to food engineering II” and it was
the same, a disaster.
Finally in the third
semester I have a subject called “oral and written communication for the food
engineer I” tough it for two teacher. This subject was so nice, it was divided
in two part the written where we read and investigated some papers and the oral
where we work with the teacher of theater. Here I love even more with the
career.
